(no subject)
I was in the elevator this morning with one of the new tech aides in our group. Tech aides are usually hired in their jr or soph year of college so they're about 19 or 20 years old. We were talking about a few of my new responsibilities, one of which involves a clean room and the bunny suit. I said I don't have to get into the full dress, no booties, just the coat, gloves, glasses, and the blue hairnet. "How's that going for you?" she asked. I told her the poly coat was hot, but I didn't mind the hairnet because they make me feel like Dana Scully. And she asked in a little voice, "Who's Dana Scully?"
And I felt about 73 years old.
