Putting candles on Tom's cake

I realized, as I was taking out the extra candles (box of 36, and he's 32 today) that, after my next birthday next month, two boxes of candles will be needed.

I'm going to be a whole box of candles old.

That almost feels as weird as when I realized I was a quarter of a century a while ago.

No idea how many candles are in a box here or if they even have boxes with candles. Well, I guess they have. But if I was in Denmark, then after my next birthday, three boxes of candles would be needed. :/

I think I was thinking of christmas tree candles (as in real candles put on a real tree), though. Not sure about birthday cake candles. Only 10 or maybe 12 or 16 at the most of those in a box. I think. So there!
