Jette called me this morning. She is the director of just about every committee there is, or on some days like today, it sure seems like it. She's not part of the statewide one I do, or the financial advisory board, or SILC. But this morning she called to let me know that she discussed with the FEMA board at the last meeting if they would like for me to become a member. Apparently several of them knew who I was and agreed so now I get to do that. Some of you social welfare buffs might know what FEMA is, I think it stands for Federal Emergency Monetary Aid, but I could be wrong I am pretty sure that's close. It's a national thing where the government disburses monies to help the needy with expenses such as rent and utilities and food. Some of what I do with TVCRC is take intake calls and make referrals for the people who actually need the help.
On another note I'm thinking about writing an autobiography. Just making a list of all the things to include seems to be overwhelming though, so I don't know if it will happen, but it's a thought just the same.
