Poker night is now officially over.
Ana was the first one out. She tried her best, but just didn't have any luck. That was around 10.
Mario followed after her around 10:30. He beat me on the first big hand of the night. I had a pair of kings and I don't remember what the other cards were. I know that they either were close to a straight or close to a flush. He took his time deciding if he wanted to call my bet or not, and ended up calling it. When he showed his cards, he had a pair of aces. I remember cussing and smacking him.
Lisa was out next around midnight. She pretty much just gave in. She started playing a little wrecklessly and bet everything on an okay hand, but I think she knew Nina would beat her.
I took Juan out next around 1 am.
Nina and I went back and forth until around 2:15 when Juan and Nina decided it was time for them to go home because they were tired. We called the game a draw, but Nina did have more chips than I did.
Overall, it was a good night.
Mario goes back to CA to the Marines on Monday. He says he is not sure when his next leave is going to be. I think probably they let them come home for the holidays, and then maybe six months after that again. If I remember correctly from what my brother did. He is going to stop by work on Sunday to say goodbye to everyone. He also promised me a picture of him in his uniform. It sucks that he has to leave - I sorta forgot how fun he is.
I think I want to try to get a group together to go see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory next week sometime. Hopefully I can convince some people to meet up at the IMAX theater to see it.
