For anyone trying to reach me, because this is the only mode of communication left to me at the moment. My cell phone's battery is quite dead, and has been since last night.
Normally I'm obsessive about my phone. I feel safer when it's with me, and I worry less about other people when I know they can reach me if they need to. Ordinarily, when I'm sleeping at home, my phone gets charged all night, every night. This particular phone can take several days of normal use without really needing charging, though, so I've never been away from home for so long that it has run out of battery. Others have done so on very rare occasions, but never when I was away from home as well as not with my car and car charger. Somehow I do not own a car charger for this phone, which probably would not matter anyway since my car is in Simi and I am not. Nor will I be until some time tomorrow (Monday). This will be the longest period of time I will be unavailable since I was about eighteen. It feels... creepy. :(
I don't expect that anyone is having a big, immediate problem that will need my attention, but if I'm wrong, this is the place to contact me. I'll be checking this post every few hours or so until my phone is working again. Comments are screened. Leave your number (I can't access my phone book, it's that dead) and I'll call you when I see the comment. I do have access to a landline, but it isn't mine so I can't give it out, and I'm unwilling to use it for anything other than urgencies.
*Sigh* Need to buy a car charger or a spare wall charger or something. *Grumbles*
