The Lullaby Album
Finally... finally, it's done! It was supposed to be available for sale in the beginning of December, but it wasn't. When people are volunteering their time and skills for a charity effort, it's hard to make them stick to deadlines. But it's done now; made, mixed, burned, and packaged. I sang two of the songs, tracks 11 and 17. Track 17, called Daydreaming of You, is fine enough... but track 11, For You, was written particularly for my voice and range for a result I'm rather proud of.
So. Anyone want to donate $10 to the Community Pregnancy Clinic here in Simi, and get a CD of original lullabies in return? Let me know, I will arrange it. Or, if you prefer, they will be on sale at the Borders in Simi, probably by this Friday. Since everything was donated- time, music, vocals, instruments, mixing, labor, artistry, technology, production, printing, packaging, etc- the entire proceeds go to funding the CPC.
