WORK!
So, who loves reading about work?!
Today I had the pleasure of being at work from 10-6, which is kind of awkward as far as schedules go. Unfortunately this is apparently my new Saturday hours. At least until I start getting 7-4s. Joy.
The biggest problem with work is looking busy while doing nothing.
In the morning I dusted around the department and did other little odd jobs until Maria went for lunch. Next I went upstairs and cleaned the countertops and machines. THEN it was time for my lunch :D After that I did the rest of the lab maintenance & it was actually kind of busy downstairs so I helped out on the counter for most of my shift.
We got new bargain movies in! Like, ten boxes full :D Me and the other girl wasted time going through them, at least when stupid customers weren't whining for help. I ended up buying one movie, Army of Darkness. Hopefully it's okay ._. We're getting a bin to put them in Monday, but I'm not sure if we were allowed to buy them before then. Oh well. The price was wrong anyway! So instead of $3.99 I got it for $1.99 :D Woo! I spent my last hour doing basically nothing except chatting with the girl who had just come in for her 5-10 shift. I felt bad, since she had to spend 4 hours alone once I left :(
Finally it was time to go home. I ended up buying a new ipod player thing...basically because it was on sale. $89.99 yesterday, $19.44 today :D I love clearance prices!! The sound quality is excellent, and it came with a tiny remote control :3
