It's Naughty Nurse night on the Spice Channel and it's got B and I in stitches! Along with the clips of soft-core naughty nurse action there is running commentary that is voiced over the poorly stitched together scenes that tells us things like "A well educated nurse must complete a 4 - 5 year college course" and "ancient nursing practices were performed by mid-wives" and so on.
Education just gets more and more interesting!
Oh look! Nurse Nina Hartley is brandishing a tube of lube and snapping on a black latex glove!
This isn't the first time today we've been laughing. It was tax time and while this doesn't normally inspire laughing fits - you just haven't met our accountant. Now, before I say anything, she's very sweet and we like her a lot, however she is the MOST redneck CPA ever. No, really.
Topics of conversation included:
She let us know that a year and a half ago she was arrested 12 times in 6 months because she "beat the shit out of her sister", but then she explained she really didn't beat her but just slammed her head into the ground. Then she told us she learned her lesson when she got arrested for violating the order of protection.
She let us know how great sex is after 40 and how often she gets it.
Details about menopause - really really intimate details.
Trying to pop what she thought was a zit on her neck, when she realized it wasn't and thought it was a cyst she slammed a bottle of tequila and tried to cut it out herself. Turns out it was an infected lymph node. oops!
So yeah. While my taxes are near disaster, at least the $75 fee to have them done comes with great entertainment.
Last night I had margarita therapy. It seems my therapist forgot the keys to her office so we convened over at the fancy schmancy green hills mexican restaurant for margaritas, tortillas and very yummy fresh salsa. It was a light hearted session and it was nice to focus on the positive changes as of late. It took the edge off the anxiety. I was able to enjoy today.
Along with Naughty Nurses, we're ending the day with yummy food. We decided to try a meal of new recipes once a week. tonight was Salmon with a mustard crust, asparagus bundles with bacon and brown rice. After dinner, who knows - maybe time for an annual check up?
