Challenge ONE-HUNDO-BABY
We've made it to 100 challenges! Whee! To celebrate, we'll be doing things a little different this week (idea blatantly stolen from ev_indulgence but emeraldsolitude suggested it so NYEAH)You must take an older icon that you just totally dislike and "make it better." Obviously you must use the same picture, but beyond that just create a better over-all icon. So you can take,

Set D: NEW(The use of texture is 1000 times better, the coloring is also better. I'm not a fan of any of the fonts/text used.)
Set D: New - Much better coloring in the new icon, and bad use of text in the old one!
Set D: New- The coloring doesn't looked wahsed out, nor oversharpened. The composition is also nice.
Set D: new (I like the colouring and the background texture)
Set D: NEW - the colors are much better suited as well as better text placement
Set D: new: the new one is really clear and draws the eye in. The circular feel to the icon adds to its emotion as well.
Set J:new looks better and clear than the old one
Set J:OLD (Even though the coloring is better in the new version, the text really threw me off and is too much the focus of the icon, for that reason, I chose the old one.)
Set J: New - The blue coloring on the old icon is not flattering! The photo is grainy looking and some of the brushes are out of place. I don't like the text in the new icon but the coloring is very pretty.
Set J: New- I like the bright coloring and how the font doesn't completely bombrad the icon.
Set J: old (I like the colours in the icon,they looks really ncie together)
Set J: NEW - amy's face is not so bright/washed out
Set J: old: the new icon is more professional, however the older icon had really beautiful colors, whereas the new one has brightly colored text on orange which doesn't look as nice. However, I love the blurred effect on the second one.
