Aha! You were probably all expecting something... else. Well, unfortunately the tawdry shows and such is not what I had in mind. I've mostly been pondering my general state of being, and it is admittedly, a bit high strung, and stressed. Why? Work, it's one of those situations where they could guarantee me full time, benefits, etc, but they're also hiring on more people to fill in holes left by people who've quit. It's acknowledged that I am the only one with the potential ability, and flexibility among current staff to pursue the position. However, there will be no firm answers one way or another about things, until after he sees how I handle training.
So, since getting stressed easily, and not always dealing with it well is a recurring theme in my life, I was wondering, how do you folks deal with such things? I'm looking for non-medicated methods in which to learn the art of mellowing out, and I just don't think I've the time, belief or inclination for Yoga. At least not without a friend so that I wouldn't be all alone and stuff. The goal of this is to keep existing stresses to a minimum, and to minimize any future stresses that may otherwise poke at me and be stressful.
