Just got asked to join the Dayton Philharmonic Woodwind Quintet and play a bunch of gigs with them in the fall. Holy crap I hope I can make that work with school and everything. Apparently the principal flute from dayton is also principal with cincinnati Chamber orchestra and thought I had a great audition. Plus I came highly recommended from the principal bassoon in dayton. Glad someone likes my playing!!
picked up my dental bite guard today at the dentist so I can stop chewing through my teeth at night. Also got a haircut which isn't styled the way I like it, but I have the feeling that it will look good eventually.
