A Foot In the Door-
So it only took about 20 or so online applications and so far 10 snail mail applications and I got my first interview.

I warn you this may not be what you want to hear....
I got an email today from SPEED Channel (they do a bunch of racing things) saying that they'd like to speak to me about the open PA position in the On-Air Promotions department. It's a phone interview, and as of now they seem interested and understanding that I probably couldn't make it to Charlotte for this first interview. I did tell them that I would fly down if they were still interested in me after the phoner. So I'm elated...I don't suck..people DO want to hire me.
I know its not on the West Coast...but it within the Fox family, which is where I want to end up..so who knows. I want to go to LA so bad, but maybe this job might be a pitstop in a very rewarding race.
Wish me luck...it goes down Wednesday at 1:30pm EST.!
