out of the blue

You're not supposed to suppress your feelings, right? But what's really the difference between suppressing them and dealing with them? Things fade into the past and it's not like you feel it any less or like it has any less relevance to your life, you just think about it less. When you put stuff away in archive boxes it's not like you're shredding it, you're just storing it so you can get the main office clear for the next thing. The mind can't shred anything. I guess it's a sign of depression when you start spending more time going through archives than working in the office. The trick is learning which things you should take back out of the archives to help the case today.
