Well, it's WAY overdue, but i put together my second mix CD. I'm not sure if i ever mentioned the first in here? It was called "My God, What A Sandwich!" or hat1.wav (house, acid, techno #1). Sent it out to a few ITMers and a couple of other randoms early this year.

On Sunday it was pissing down with rain so i couldn't shoot hoops to start getting my ankle back in shape like i wanted to. Instead i finally got around to the CD (and putting a bunch of shit on eBay too, incidentally). Now, as y'all know i love to rant and rave about music, and one of my whipping boys of the late 90s/early 00s was Daft Punk for basically making house music go all pad-y and filter-y and let's-sample-old-disco-tracks-y instead of beefy and funky and boompty. Fortunately electro house put an end to that, but Daft Punk are touring Australia soon (for the first time ever??) so everyone's all thrilled. Of course that means i gotta get my cunt on - this CD's called "Fuck Daft Punk And Their Fucking Bullshit French Filtered House, No I'm Not Going To See Them When They're In Australia So Stop Bugging Me", or fuckdaftpunk.wav. Yes, for those of you who don't know me too well i'm pretty much taking the piss. Mostly.
As with the previous CD, it's ripped and burned using Windows Media Player - mixed with Audacity. I'm high fucking tech. The initial concept was to put together a bunch of GOOD house music with robot voices in it, but it turned into a bit of a mixed up techno/electro(clash)/house trainwreck. Gotta love mix CDs made by non-DJs, right? Heh.
