My misadventures through the "puerto belt" continue.

After my previous regular update, i opted to take the gravel road down the west side of the river, and that happened to be the same day as Glimpse At My Day, so i did a full-blown entry for that leg, mud and all.

See? That's what you don't understand... assholes don't think they're the assholes, EVERYONE ELSE is the asshole.

Normal people are like, "Some people are assholes, most are not... and I might even be one sometimes. Whoops!"

Assholes are like, "Everyone else is a fuckin' asshole and I am the only perfect human on the planet.. and it's just SO TIRING that no one gets on board with how amazing and important I really am!!"

Think: Those wealthy white English-only speaking tourists who vacation in a poor brown country and complain that they can't read the menus or the A/C doesn't work during their tropical getaway.
These people... are assholes.
They go to a hot sunny place... to enjoy the hot sun... and then complain that it is too hot and too bright and the very fact that people who live there.. are used to it/not bothered by it.
They go to a place where their only spoken language... is not spoken, and refuse to even learn "Hello" "Goodbye" "Yes" "No" "Please" "Thankyou" and "I'm Sorry"... and therefore just raise their voice at everyone because they really do think they can be understood if they just shout English, and that locals are the problem (or are "scary"), and as visitors they should be catered to like royalty just for having money/being white/privileged.
