food in fl picture post (part 3)

Before i get into my Panama adventures, here is the last picture post with all the food i ate in Florida that wasn't just a quick pastry/sandwich/coffee or supermarket food. Pastel de Nata is the name of the one Portuguese pastries. It is what it looks like to me anyway.
Pupusas are something I want to try. There is a sister duo that have a food truck about 40 minutes from us however we haven’t tried the truck yet as they have hours that never seem to jive when we are in the vicinity. Maybe one day.

Pastel de Nata! All over the place in Bahrain but I have no idea why, probably part of the Filipino influence.

Every time I read one of your food posts, I wind up in my kitchen looking for something good to eat!

I make sure I don't have lots of snacky stuff in the house, just for this reason.

This post is making me nostalgic for Caribbean food! My gran used to make soursop juice from fruit that my step granddad farmed.
Conch is big in the Cayman Islands too and my cousins used to go diving for them. I can't recall ever eating one but I've seen plenty while snorkelling. They graze through the sea grass beds like giant snails.
