However, in the Czech Areas of Central Texas or the German areas of the Hill Country, you'll get your ear talked off if you call them Kolaches.
A Czech Kolache is basically a jelly danish with raised walls, almost a bowl. The Pigs In A Blanket is properly called a Klobasnik.

We have a bakery here in out small town, and it's true. Having a bakery in town is nice, fresh baked bread at anytime and better than store-bought, which is too soft and sweet.

This is very true, and at least int he Hill Country, there's a chain that celebrates that. Bill Miller's BBQ is basically a fast food BBQ chain in San Antonio and Austin.
I kind of miss it, personally, because while I rave about Lockhart BBQ, for me, there's no bad Texas BBQ - so lower end fast food BBQ is good for a quick dinner. I really miss having that.
