It's a bit of an anticlimax really. I feel a bit guilty for feeling that.

These authoritarian types just slide their way out of taking any responsibility whatsoever, it's depressing. I feel like the same thing is going to happen in the west too.

Politicians and senior corporate or public sector people in the UK are almost entirely unaccountable.

The state we’re in now is much worse than it was when that series was made. A blending together of private and public sectors has occurred beyond any oversight or control.
