Yesterday i had a lazy morning, then packed my bags. On a whim, i biked to the ferry terminal to see if there was a boat going. There was, so i set sail for 外伶仃岛 - Wai Lingding Island

I want some street vendors outside my home. That sounds like a perfect way to return home. No cooking, yet a full belly.

Always wondered what was on those little islands that we could see but weren't allowed to go to. We had school camp on Cheung Chau, directly north of that island. Back in the day the pirates would have been very real around there.

How quick is the ferry from Zuhai to Shenzhen?

Zhuhai to Shenzhen (and presumably Hong Kong) is about an hour on the catamaran. If you go up via Dongguan and cross at Humen it's probably at least a 2 hour drive.
