tbh, i havent been able to get into lucha underground. idk why. i really aught to like it.
also i do not understand how you can be bored with shinsuke. i think he's a fantastic wrestler and p fun in the ring too. hes everything i want out of wrestling tbh.
I loved Shinsuke on his debut because he was so fresh, but I think he has been sold short by the writing team. He has a great entrance and a great outfit, but I don't buy his motivation. I know a big part of it is that his English isn't there yet, but imo they should either have given him a manager, or switched up the format to better handle bilingual promos (e.g. in Lucha Underground where Striker plays dumb and Vampiro translates, or Iron Chef where everything was dubbed).
Like Asuka, Shinsuke is a wrestler with a great look who seems to have been booked as a monster face because the writers can't figure out any other way to deal with performers who don't yet have solid (English) mic skills. I think it wasn't so bad when Shinsuke was up against Joe because Joe was able to sell for the both of them, but with Roode (and other opponents) the story doesn't ring true for me. I hope with a bit of time he'll get there.

That said, I think they could both just speak japanese and subtitle it. it'd be fine. but i'm sure thats too spoopy for the WWE
