Bruce signed his name with a flourish on a very important finance proposal giving the Wayne Agricultural branch an extra grant to facilitate the making of all crops organic and pesticide-free, which Gotham city had begun rallying for as interest in personal health and diet increased. He dropped it in his outbox for his secretary to collect later and left his office, dropping down below the main building into the basement. The Mechanical Engineering Department was down here because it was something of a pet project, something that he invested little money in because there was little to come of it commercially. Until something of interest was thought up, he wasn't planning on expanding it.

The heels of his of shining Armani shoes echoed in the cavernous space of the basement and the pale yellow light made him look slightly more jaundiced with each step towards the center of the basement.

"Nigma. Talking to yourself?" he asked coolly.

"Uhhh, not exactly." Edward snipped as he closed the sad excuse for circuitry for now before he tried to blow it up in frustration and turned on the intruder ( ... )

Nodding curtly, Bruce reached forward and slid his hand over Nigma's supposed "pet project." He would have said something about work not being the time for unfocused tinkering, but he didn't want to make any enemies at the moment. Bruce pulled his hand back sharply as the machine made several clicking noises in rapid succession ( ... )

Edward rushed forward to clean up some of the papers, mostly the ones that seem to repeat the same subject of the vigilante he'd become obsessed with as of late. He didn't need the man questioning his focus like most of his superiors did over a little side hobby. He stuffed most of them in a drawer.

"It works for me and it doesn't effect anyone else." He said argued curtly.
