Next Semester
I should join an ensemble next semester. I'm still very clumsy as far as, oh, everything goes with the violin, but I don't think it would take me too long to become better acquainted with it. There are three weeks left of classes for this semester... four weeks until summer break begins. I should devote time each day to practicing and getting ready for an audition. I'll probably start with the All-University String Orchestra rather than the huge Symphony. Mostly because the All-U meets once a week and has one/two concerts per semester while the Symphony Orchestra meets 3 times per week and plays lots of concerts. I also believe that there is travel. Yikes. We'll see, though. I really love playing in symphonies. . .
