Finally, finally, after a two year breakup with music and the violin, we are back together. I joined my university's string ensemble and am slowly regaining my lost form. It is surprising how clumsy I am. Sightreading, though never my forte, is surprisingly difficult. Embarrassingly difficult. I must not be doing too terrible, though, since the last two people I've sat next to have complimented my playing. :) I sat in the first stand of the second violins (don't want to be too hasty or step on any toes!) last time and it was glorious. I was terrified at first, nearly to the point of tears. However, I made a silent plea to God to please get me through this and I played really well.
