Wondering where I've been, fellow LJ-ers? Well, if you'd only turn on the news -- if you have cable/power -- or logged online -- if you have internet -- then you know that we had a visit from good 'ol gender ambiguous Hurricane Sandy. And she wasn't a very good house guest. Luckily, she didn't trash our house, but somehow she managed to turn off our electricity and our internet. We have a generator and all, but it's just not the same. Sandy/FrankenStorm was here for business: the business of pissing off a bunch of people.
Yet, thank you, Starbucks' wi-fi -- although thou art, at times, unusually slow, I realized how much we depend on modern technology.
I'm an atheist, and even I'm thanking God for the fact that it could be worse for us.
