Buckeyes
I normally couldn't care less about football--except for maybe the Superbowl, but I usually only watch it for the commercials and sometimes the half-time show--but last night I ended up watching the Ohio State University Buckeyes-Florida State University Gators BCS Championship game for like 2 hours. Even though I don't go to either one, Denison's really close to Ohio State [OSU], and they have our same colors (red & white), and besides, I have lots of friends who are OSU fans, so why not? And they were #1 in the nation, undefeated (12-0), so I assumed last night's game would be a sure win. But alas, no, the Gators won, surprisingly. I obviously didn't watch the whole game, because that's way too much football for me at one time, but I saw the headline on Comcast -- I didn't read the article to see what the score was though. I'm not a football expert, but I think OSU's 51 days of not playing had something to do with this loss.
