Have you ever had one of those times where you had nothing to wrote about for a while? Well, guess what, that has happened to me. It seems like that I have had nothing to write about b/c it seems to revolve around two things for me...family and church and being an official for Upward Basketball (which the season has about three weeks left).
To start where I left off.....it would seem right to begin right where I stopped.
Last Week: Let's see...on Monday, I got my taxes sent off to the accountant to be filled out. The person who filled my taxes out has been doing them since 1997 and has charged me little to no charge b/c me and her go to the same church which is either a good thing or a bad thing. On Tuesday, worked outside getting things done outside. I, also, have been cleaning up a wooded area at the end of the property to make it look pretty and proper for everyone to walk through. Wednesday.....picked up my taxes from the accountant and will be getting a little change back from the state and uncle sam. Thursday, worked outside and started loading things up to take to the scrap yard. Friday, went to the scrap yard to take off the metal and got back about $28 worth. Saturday, went to the church and officiated the earlt game and the last game of the day. Then during the 10 am game, the head coach stopped the game and pulled her team off the floor because one of the other team's players was using her elbows to clear everyone out of her way to turn and make her shot. This delay cost us 10 minutes and threw the whole schedule off by at least 20 minutes because the head coach somehow forgot the rules for Upward Basketball. Then one of the other team's players was pretty upset after she overheard that she could be thrown out of the league. I as well as her parents and coach had to tell her that she would not get thrown out of Upward League b/c of her playing the game. I will be getting in touch with some of my officiating buddies about this situation and see what the rules say about elbowing.
This Week: Sunday, went to church and came home and slept until 3:00 then went to church to set up for the evening service. Monday, worked in my office most of the day b/c it was too freaking cold to do anything outside. Today (Tuesday), got my laundry done and got most of that done except for the white clothes (which should not take long...except for the socks which matching them up can be a total pain in the butt).
Well, gotta go for now but will stay in touch.
