Post con weeks

A lot happend since the recent convention marathon.

There is a scaffold ob both sides of my house, and starting 7:00 sharp today, the workers demonstrated once more, that every bit of work they do, has to start with noises that make the ceiling and floor in my apartment tremble. Also my plants are full of dust.

But that's more or less the only thing that's been annoying.

My lion came by for a short (1 day) visit last week. We had a short, but nice, time together. I really miss him a lot. If it hadn't been for this visit, I'd not be seeing him for a month!

I've spent a little time putting some extras into my car, like cruise control, a power outlet in the trunk, and a microphone. I learned once more, that even european cars to not behave the way the manual says it would, so it's still work in progress...

Chandri decided spontaneously to spend the last 3 days of his vacation in Berlin. I had to work, so we didn't really do a lot together, but we watched a movie, had sushi at "Sushi Berlin", cooked some reeeeally hot habanero-vegetable-sauce, had a lot of strawberries and went to the suana for a few hours, which was especially neat, since it was a really spontaneous decision after he had actually packed his things and was ready to leave already.

I've spent most of yesterday on my balcony and with my plants. The balcony is now, finally, in a halfways usable state, and most of the plants are in their final pots now. I might be having a surplus on plants in the end, but I'm not sure yet.

My theater has a new asset: I got myself a vintage amplifier to complete the mutlizone setup for listning to music. It's a Technics SE-A1000, one of those blocks that has only VU-meters, and an "on"-button. It's in pefect condition and was really not very expensive. And it makes music sound amazing.

Last but not least: I've spent Friday morning with a cougar baby. Siegmar made it possible once again for us to visit the "backstage" area of the Tierpark in Berlin, where we met Missoula, a 10 week cougar, who was very interested in our hair, hands, faces, glasses, and pretty much everything that was scratchable, clawable or destoryable. She was very, very cute. tchk took pictures of her. Thank you, Siegmar.
