Post-Con Update
Now then... EF is over, so is my holiday, a camping trip to the Edersee with a couple of friends, and now even Herbstcon. Over a month of traveling, meeting friends and relaxing is over now. Naturally I haven't managed to sort out the pictures I've taken yet. And of course I haven't made any updates to my journal.
EF was great. This years great plus was that the hotel was better prepared for us, and the routine of the staff, that made it a very smooth and professional convention. The most memorable event though had nothing to do with EF: The engagement of Tani and Nightfox, two of my best friends. I am so happy for them.
Our trip to the Edersee was terrific. The weather was awesome - I even made it into the lake on Saturday. We had a comfortable house (The only reason I call it camping trip is because it was on a large camping site), made a couple of nice trips and had some great food.
Herbstcon was great as well. It was warm enough to spend the evening at the bonfire and sunny enough to be outside in only a shirt almost all day. I've been making the brunch again, and so the only drawback was that I spent WAY to little time in bed - I had around 10 hours of sleep. Not in one night, but all three nights together. Still - it was worth it.
The vacation season is over for us now, and since Suhlvester won't take place this year (and we didn't know in time that this year FoF would be the thing to sign up for), the last furry event for us this year will be the CFD. I only hope all of our friends will be there, because I really don't want to wait until late spring.
