I forgot to post about the whole reason why I included the notes about how I was referring to it as an argument over my smoking.
See, it was all fun and games while she was stalling out and the first two times I made jokes about how I'd just been smoking. But then it started to get eerily accurate as I noticed that, despite it seeming to be a temperature-related problem, she'd start up just fine in 10-degree weather provided I hadn't been smoking.
Now, I kind of feel like I've sent her to the chop shop to have a new brain put in her instead of actually listening to her concern. I felt so bad that it's actually been helping me from picking up another smoke (that and the comfortingly bouncy little gremlin in my head, wagging her finger at me).
Anyway, it seems like they have to order her New Personality directly from the Genuine People Personality Plant in Japan, or something, so she'll be limping and unreliable pretty much throughout the holidays. How joyful.
