Amu, still very embarrassed at being stuck in this ensemble, unfortunately is a bit prickly, and so at Matthew's choke, upon turning around, the first thing out of her mouth is a defensive "What?"

With a bit of hesitance that she masks easily with off-handedness, she walks quickly to catch up with the boy, her eyes averted as she gives her best "Cool and Spicy" attitude. "Look, um...sorry. I didn't mean to snap or anything."

The boy's words surprised Amu, and despite herself...she actually feels a little shy, and her cheeks are touched with blush as she looks at him. "...Really?"

Amu wasn't used to being called cute at all; her little sister Ami was always the cute one, and with Amu's "Cool and Spicy" persona, she could never really let her guard down enough to try wearing something cute on her own. Being called cute...it was...actually kind of nice.

The pink-haired girl's cheeks go as pink as her hair and she looks away uncomfortably.

"...The...the castle dressed me in it," she offered, as a feeble sort of proud defense.
