sorry i havent been updating lately, i simply do not have the time
but im really down about the fact that i haven't had a car for a week now:
1 - it had battery problems, easily solved and at no direct cost
2 - not having a car for the past week and not for the foreseeable time is affecting me because i have a huge amount of work to do and have to take a taxi everywhere i freakin go
3 - not to mention affecting my social life quite intensily, leading to me focusing on work even more... especially in such an intense time like this, has lead me near exhaustion
4 - the problem now being that i need to replace the steering pump (1000 euros, 1250 us dollars) and Lancia in Portugal have told me they don't have that part anymore! i found out today and im so pissed at it...
it seems stupid to me because
1 - there are still quite a lot of lancias driving around here
2 - the brand doesn't put out a new model every year, having launched only about 6 or 7 models since the 80s, meaning they must have freakin parts for their cars
3 - you can find parts for cars which havent existed for fucking 40 years, so you can't for a 1991 car?
4 - lancia is still a major car brand in Italy so they MUST have parts there!
so my dad has been trying to find other places where to find the fucking steering pump
