Sick...

So, I woke up this morning with a MISERABLE headache... like, bordering on migraine levels here.  I decided to tough it out and go to class anyway.  Get dressed, and then my stomach decides it hates me.  So much for going to class.  Now, my back is killing me, right around the lower part of my right lung.

Call parents.... Mom and Dad have the same issues with the headache and upset stomach, and Mom also has the back issues.  It has something to do with our ohsofuckedup sinuses.

In other news, I took benadryl for the first time in months on Saturday night.  It knocked me out so hard that  I slept until 12:30 on Sunday.  I've NEVER slept that late, and as penance for the sin, of sleeping that late, I was so hyper last night that I decided that I was going to paint my toenails.  At two in the morning.  Then I watched TV for two more hours until my body finally decided, somewhere after 3:30 (that was the last time I looked at the clock) that it was ready to shut down for the night.

Alarm is set for 10:20 (yes, it is nice to sleep that late before I have to get up and get ready for classes), but one of my roommates has decreed that when she wakes up, the rest of the apartment wakes up.  She has no qualms about blasting her rap music (so that I can hear the lyrics enough to sing along after it passes through two closed doors) before everyone wakes up.  This morning, the wake-up call was at roughly 9:15.... and she didn't turn it off until 10:15.  So there was no point in trying to go back to sleep.

Well, the good news is, that I tend to work off excess energy (which, amazingly enough, I had plenty of after only five hours of sleep) by doing every chore that can possibly be done.  So, in the past two days, I have mopped the kitchen, vacuumed, washed four loads of dishes, done a load of laundry, cleaned a bathroom, and scrubbed walls around the trashcan.  So, I am now thoroughly tired enough (hopefully) to sleep.

Off I go to see if this theory is correct...

sick, chores, sleep
