Last set of Budapest pictures
The Opera House. I would love to know what this show was about because it looks like some sort of show about a communist Spiderman.
The Terror Museum. We weren't allowed to take pictures inside. The museum was interesting. We purchased the audio guides which were a waste of money because they had papers in English throughout the museum explaining the rooms. Plus the narrator for the tour was AWFUL. She had a monotonous voice and just rambled and didn't explain what we were seeing in the rooms. It was a very dramatic museum and I liked the way it was set up , I just wish they had done a better job explaining what you were seeing.
This picture is from my favorite thing we did in Budapest, the Labyrinth! If you go after 18:00, they turn off all of the lights and you explore the caverns with a lantern. It has all sorts of twists and turns and funny art and statues. None of it is historically accurate, but it is a BLAST! I felt like I was in an Indiana Jones movie or The Goonies.
