Oh the wonderful world of financial aid!

As of today, I have completed day 3 of my job at the fabulous AIU. I have to get up at 6 a.m. and I leave around 7 to ensure that I'll get to work by 9. The drive really isn't too bad, but again after three days, I'm just glad I have a job! We'll see how I like the commute in a month!

So, my head is about to explode from all of the financial aid information that has been crammed in there the past few days, but I feel pretty confident that I have some grasp of what's going on. We took a quiz today on everything we've learned so far and I'm pretty sure I aced it.

We got devided into our teams and were assigned our cubicles today. My dad's giving me his "window mirror" it's a mirror with window panes in it to "open up the space" hehe, he used to have it in his cubicle at one of his old offices. It'll be quite homie once I have my Toby and Baby cousin pictures to brighten up the place. We're beeing thrown out on the floor to package students on Friday already! I'm really nervous! There are no little mistakes with this job. You screw something up and it affects whether or not your student will be able to afford school!

I never knew what a plethora of complicated and diverse situations surround funding a college education. My dad set everything up for my college ed. and I just signed the papers. I really took it for granted. Everyone at work seems really cool and nice which is always a plus. We also talk to people from all over the world, which is definitely cool. I've also decided that I'm gonna get a fully loaded Honda Civic coupe or a CR-V. But I have plenty of time to figure that out, in the mean time, I must save save save!

It's crazy how you switch from irresponsible college student to a responsible adult citizen once you get a full time job (career) three days and I'm already going to bed early, drinking my obligatory 3 cups of coffee before work, and my whole aura has changed. I LOVE going to work and leaving at the end of the day knowing that I put in an honest days work and am working to support myself. Helping college students find ways to fund their educations is also a fringe benefit. Welp, I better get ready for bed, gotta get up early tomorrow, yay!!
