The circuit overseer came through a few weeks ago and I believe the elders were "encouraged" to get a move on getting everyone in the congregation a shepherding visit. This afternoon I got my visit which, frankly, I dearly needed. They were my first guests in my new home. They stayed about an hour, and I felt refreshed by the time they left. M. was his usual gentle self. G., with whom I've had vague issues which I can't pin down but could be as simple as incompatible chemistry, was insightful and friendly.
I still have furniture to re-arrange and pictures to hang, but I decided not to reschedule the visit because I just wanted to get it over with and I knew they wouldn't mind that everything was not perfect.
I rate the visit a success from my point of view.
