Notes: Written for polybigbang. This is a sequel to the American Idol fanfic Building Jerusalem (written for polybigbang 2009. I converted Building Jerusalem to original fic last year. You can still read the fanfiction version at bjdnihome. (Join to read.) I hope you do not need to read either to follow this sequel, but I’m not positive on that. In its most specific analysis, this does not work as a sequel to the fanfiction due to changes in character backgrounds, but in general terms it does.
