Title: Erimir and Veiruthil
Fandom: Eragon
Pairing: Brom/Selena
Written by: shoelessknight
Co-narrated by shoelessknight and  dreaming_athena
Warnings: Imminent doom.
Summary: "The sands of time cannot be stopped. Years pass whether we will them to or not... but we can remember. What has been lost may yet live on in memories. That which you hear is imperfect and fragmented, yet treasure it, for without you it does not exist. I give you now a memory that has been forgotten, hidden in the dreamy haze that lies behind us."

This is a story about Erimir the keen of sight, and Veiruthil, the keen of hearing. They each lost the senses that made them renowned at the hands of a shade, though because of it their knowledge, power, and importance to all riders forevermore grew beyond what either of them could have possibly imagined.Shoeless Knight's notes: The scene is a rare moment where Selena and Brom are alone and can be themselves, utterly open to each other.
Dreaming Athena's notes: The link to the text takes you to an old version of the story. The recorded story contains several "add-ons" some written by me, though still mostly ShoelessKnight :)Bonus...something (my adoration? a podfic? anything else that doesn't cost money and isn't illegal?) if you can tell which sentences I wrote. This was not supposed to be in bold. Stupid computer.
Disclaimer: All aspects of the Eragon world belong to Christopher Paolini, his publishers, and whoever made the terrible movie adaptation. The quote used in the summary is spoken by Brom in 'Eragon'.
