The World Turned Upside Down, by Astolat

I've spent a month working at an Arctic research station, without Internet or (mostly) the company of other people. This resulted in a lot of podfic. This is the first one, there will be more soon...

Cool! Could you show me the cover? Still can't open those files, and I'd love to see what you put on this one.

COOLEST THING EVER! (Okay, sorry for the pun.)

Seriously, that is such an awesome thing to do, to be doing, to even *think* about doing. I've spent my summer in Aussie winter, being a completely lazy sod avoiding people. You shame me with your work ethic and ice water swimming, and general awesomeness.

(am dling, though I'll be just going off the movie and Rusty Crowe.)

Ahaha, don't go assuming things about my work ethic, now. *g* I do it because I love it up there, not from a sense of duty.

The story is based on book canon, but I'm pretty sure you can enjoy it anyway.

Oh, a sense of duty wouldn't get anyone to work in the arctic. But, seriously, I could see how you could love it up there. It must be awesome.

I look forward to listening, then.
