Well, right now, we're looking at taking on regular volunteers. They would monitor the Amplificathon communities on LJ and DW, upload podfics to the Audiofic Archive, create new entries, and leave the Archive link for the podficcer in their Amplifiathon entry. We also receive podfic through a Google form, and through email that also have to be uploaded, have entries created for them, and the podficcer notified.
During the next couple of months, that would be the main focus, since the Amplifcathon challenge will be running and a lot of podfic will be posted to the communities.
At other times during the year, there are multiple tasks that you could help with, depending on your time, your interests, and your skills.
It helps to be a bit computer savvy, since uploading to the Archive involves dl'ing the podfics to your computer, zipping them, uploading them to the Archive though a ftp client, but we are willing to train.
If this sounds like something you might be interested in, email me and we can discuss it further.
