I really do want to like Moira, I really do, but I haven't played with her enough to really get to know her I think. For now, I'm a little bemused by her but ...I'm actually not as crazy about her as I am your Sulu(s) of various kinds. I love her and freaking adore her PB, but I'm having a hard time interacting with her on a more personal level with Kirk. :D

I'd really like to play girl!Jim more with Moira to see if they have that same bond I see between Kirk and Scotty -- I always see them bonding over the Enterprise, boasting about their baby, drinking scotch and being entertaining, and Kirk yelling at her to perform miracles. The thing I think I really want to see more of is her doing what she does best -- saving the ship from certain destruction and being a miracle worker.

Like I said, I don't quite know this character as well as your others, but there's my two cents on Moira! I think she's an awesome well rounded character, I'm just begging to see mooooore of her kicking a lot of ass. ♥

I totally see what you're saying about needing to do more miracle worker things, but I keep finding myself stuck on the problem that, alas, I'm not an engineer. I'm a historian. I keep myself as absolutely far from mechanics as possible, which makes bullshitting these things incredibly difficult for me. (Which is why I actually almost gave Moira up until there was Gab and co's demand for Moar)

And I would LOVE to play out with girl!Jim. Their Enterprise is clearly male. :|
