I had him pick out the yarn, and he chose this really really soft marina wool blend. Oh my, it's so dreamy and luxurious as it wraps and hugs your neck. This is only the third knitting project I have completely finished. I am feeling much more comfortable casting on and off. Next up I'm going to try to follow patterns and learn to purl so I can get some sweet knit purl action going on with my projects. It's really cool seeing how different yarns work with different projects, and how different sized needles create different things. I'm really excited to put more time into this craft.
I have a book full of different patterns for socks, just socks! I'm stoked to try working on some sweet custom hand knitted marina wool socks! :) :)
