The End of an Era
So. Today is the last day of my paid account.
While I still love LJ & all you fabulous Friends Listers, I'm tightening my belt in anticipation of buying a house and...well, this makes sense. I'm not on here as much as I once was (thanks to FB & Twitter), and I can certainly live without my fancy layout and extra userpics.
Also worth tightening my belt for? Europe. I believe we have decided to visit Gram's friends in Leicestershire, head to Barcelona for a week, take a weekend in Carcassonne, and then head back. Honestly, I may be more excited about Carcassonne itself than I am about Barcelona. But still, very much looking forward to it.
I've even applied for a couple PT jobs to try and make some extra cash...neither Home Depot or Sears have called me back yet, tho :( In the meantime I'm brown bagging lunch & not going out to eat nearly as much, sold my video camera that I've rarely used, and put a bunch of Star Trek stuff up for sale on FB.
In other news: I am luring more fangirls in to Fringe fandom. YIPEE!!
