I am STUCK.
I want to buy a house, preferably a townhome.
I can't find anything I'm very happy with price/location/amenities-wise here. Selection is ridiculously limited, making costs high.
The Houston area, where my fake!family is moving, has much better selection, with one small problem: I hate Houston.
I love the Austin area, and have also been toying with the idea of moving back to Indy because, let's face it, Gramma isn't going to live forever.
My biggest problem is that I love my job. Seriously, I might bitch about it from time to time, but I love it. I love the people I work with, they appear to like me a lot too, and I'm able to do my job competently without stressing. And I'm paid very well.
I don't have a college degree and yet live VERY comfortably. Comfortably that I'm probably not going to find something with comparable pay right away. I'm wary of risking that on something new and untested.
