No Wallowing!
Wow, so my last two posts were "poor, pitiful me"! Let's move right past that and on to fun stuff, shall we?
Halfway through Season 2.
Astrid is so amazing. Seriously, I love her. Needs moar Astrid.
I miss Charlie, but it's kinda good because now Broyles gets to interact with the team more. BUT I STILL MISS CHARLIE!!!
Walter getting lost in Chinatown was heartbreaking.
And Walter getting kidnapped, too. AND PART OF HIS BRAIN IS MISSING? WTF, MR SPOCK?!
Though it does sort of explain some of Peter's issues, because Walter w/all his brain seemed like kind of a dick.
Weird mutant people, Walter's crazy song, and "he played the most haunting melody" LOL
THE MOTHERFUCKING PLAGUE INFECTED PETER & MADE EVERYBODY ALL WOOBIE. That was GLORIOUS. Peter/Olivia plague UST & Walter despondent & Astrid being awesome.
John Noble deserves an Emmy, godammit.

Walter Bishop, in his more rational moments, wants things. Rational things.
He wants his son not to hate him. He wants to be able to sort through his muddled mind the way he used to. He wants to tell Olivia how very bright she is, and remember Astrid's name.
He wants fat, happy grandchildren and a chance to be for them the man he didn't get to be for Peter.
In one of his less rational moments, he calls across the lab to Peter and Olivia that the probability is that they would produce attractive offspring free of genetic defects.
He wants Peter not to be annoyed with him.
