Iron Fug 2
I was very excited by the prospect of the Iron Man 2 premiere. After the press thing the other night, wherein RDJ was awesome and wore a suit and sneakers again and both Gwyneth and ScarJo wore lovely gray frocks (though ScarJo's was a tad boring IMHO), everyone looked happy and pretty and...y'know. I was excited.
And then I saw the photos from the premiere and I literally said "What the fuck is Gwyneth Paltrow wearing? Are those WHITE DRESS SHORTS and a BLAZER? WITH BLACK SHOES?!"
And yes. Yes, that's EXACTLY what she was wearing. SPARKLY white dress shorts and matching blazer with ugly black shoes. Just...I want to know what the thought process was here. Like, Gwyneth Paltrow's combing through her closet, passing harem pants jumpsuits and too small lumpy dress-belts until she sees the sparkly blazer and says "THANK GOD I BOUGHT THE MATCHING SHORTS, CUZ IT IS HOT IN L.A. TODAY."
And then she pairs it with big ugly black shoes (which, according to Go Fug Yourself is apparently a pattern with her).
I'll admit that I dress like a 12 year old boy, and am generally to be found in t-shirts and shorts/jeans, so I might not have any room to talk. BUT. WHITE SPARKLY DRESS SHORTS AND MATCHING BLAZER.
