No More Chickens!
Apartment #4 was awful--the landlord didn't even show up, and I didn't feel safe outside waiting for 15 minutes. BLEH.
Apartment #5 was lovely (and big!) & the landlord was awesome, but it was on the bottom floor of an old house, which meant I could hear everything going on above me. And those people have children.
BUT BUT BUT I found a townhome on Craigslist today, called the realtor, went & saw it and LOVED it, so I move in February 20!! The bedrooms are smaller, but there's 2 of them! And I have a full & half bath, and an upstairs and it's only $100 more than I'm paying now, but cable & water are included. I'm just THRILLED!!
Tomorrow I put down the deposit, fill out the paperwork, and get to work packing and throwing out 5 years of accumulated crap.
Poor Gracie is going to be soooo confused.
