Okay...so looks like the Fit will be named something X-Wing related... on my short list thus far are Kettch, Red 2, Sticks (or Goddess, or Great One), and Rebel (thanks ewanspotter). And yes, I've already ordered a dangly X-Wing on a suction cup and a Rebel Alliance decal. I'm OCD & right now it's my car. Just go with it :)
In other news, my college is stalking me. I have, like, 5 classes I need to take to get my degree. But I've gotten to the point where I LOATHE sitting in class for three hours after work, so for the last...um semesters I've dropped my class halfway through. The last one was a GIS course we were subbing in to my degree plan (the Dean of the Computer Science department LOVES me for some reason), which was interesting but DAMN did I get sick of sitting there. After I dropped it my professor actually tracked me down one of the few times I was on campus and begged me to come back. I declined, and he said that I could take it again, save all my work from this semester, and not have to show up for the first X weeks. LOL, still declined. Last night the head of the GIS department calls & begs me to take this new class they're offering. Never been begged to take a class before, so I was like "Eh, what the hey." Talked to Dean of CS again, got my degree plan squared away...will now have class Tues & Thurs (don't they know The Office is on Thursday?! Why don't they have more Mon/Wed classes?!) and a remedial math (I SUCK at math) on Saturday. Hopefully I can knock this shit out & finally get my stupid degree!
Off to Austin this weekend. It's even hotter there than it is here, but there IS supposed to be rain this weekend. It occurs to me that I haven't camped at ALL This year thanks to the drought... classes will end December 9 just in time for my birthday, and THAT means: BIRTHDAY CAMPING! Also: how AWESOME IS THIS?!
