Back from Indiana! WIth impetigo on my toe. How random is that?!
The weather was amazing...highs of 80 degrees, you guys. 80 degrees is our LOW these days. I mowed the front & back yard and didn't sweat. I rode a bike ten miles and DIDN'T SWEAT. Still trying to get over that, obviously...
Grandma had a lovely birthday--she had 36 guests, and a wonderful caterer, and lots of sweets. Back on my diet tomorrow!
My uncle, who used to be one of my favorite relatives, has become an angry misogynist. He judged it perfectly reasonable to PISS IN TO COKE BOTTLES rather than walk downstairs to the bathroom. I just...who does that?!
My aunt remains a hypochondriac who is certain that the entire universe is just waiting to destroy her. It would be funny(er) if she wasn't so damned earnest about it.
And cousin is becoming a normal girl, thankfully free of her mother's worrywart tendencies. Grandma and I took her shopping so she could have a "normal girl" day.
I think I'll stick with the fake!fam. We'll just let them adopt Grandma and it'll be perfect!
Off to bed now...have been up since 3am and am now crashing quite hard...
