Dilemma
Hello guys!
Recently I downloaded around 100 different S3 furniture and objects sets from various sites including pay sites. I intend to convert these sets to Sims 2.
So far I contacted 4 creators asking their permission to convert their works to S2. 1 creator agreed; 3 refused for some reasons.
Sooo... I'm thinking if I really can convert their objects without asking their permissions or not. I don't ask EA's permission to convert anything, but I do it anyway. Is it really bad if I convert something without a permission? I'm still going to give all the credits to those creators, so it's not stealing.
Just to make it clear: I will not ask any permissions from now on, and I will convert all these sets for my personal use, but my question is should I share them here or not?
