Poll Weekend Comparison: The Underworld series

Trivia - 2003: The underground tunnels used for the Lycan/vampire battle at the end of the movie were mostly shots of the same small rubble set, but shot from different angles and lighting in order to make it look like different locations underground. During the DVD commentary, director Len Wiseman laughed at this fact and pointed out the scenes in which this trick photography was used.

Trivia - 2006: This is the only film in the Underworld series so far that the music wasn't composed by Paul Haslinger, who did the score for Underworld (2003). He was replaced by 'Marco Beltrami', who Director Len Wiseman wanted because he was impressed with his score on I, Robot (2004). Paul was brought back for Underworld: Rise of The Lycans (2009).

Trivia - 2009: While filming this movie, Michael Sheen was asked by Ron Howard if he could record a quick moment of dialog for Frost/Nixon (2008). Sheen, covered in fake blood from the days filming, went to his trailer and recorded the dialog, he asked someone to take a picture of him doing it and sent it to Ron Howard, who had it framed and displayed.
